As a leader in Real Estate in Pike Road, AL, we wanted to keep you abreast of what is happening in and around the Pike Road neighborhoods. If you are familiar with what’s been happening lately, it comes as no surprise for me to say things are going NUTS in this bustling little community we so love. We are seeing cow pastures turn to rows of homes in a very short time!
Nobody would doubt that the number one stimulant was the opening of the Pike Road School! The Patriots are in full swing, and so is the housing market! Not only is the home count on the rise, fortunately for a suffering housing market over the past year, the home prices are on a steady incline as well.
This is great news to the folks who are looking at selling and not being upside down like so many were for a few years. Directly in line with the rise in price, you guessed it, a severe decline in inventory! These two often go hand in hand.
Within the Pike Road city limits, you have several neighborhoods that are just selling as fast, or in many cases, faster than the builders can build them. We spent some time to show you what’s taken place year to date in these neighborhoods.
Woodland Creek Neighborhood
41 homes sold
Bon Terre Neighborhood
14 homes sold
25 homes sold
The Waters Neighborhood
39 homes sold
Boykin Lakes Neighborhood
20 homes sold
The Orchards Neighborhood
This is a newer neighborhood that already has 6 properties pending, but hasn’t closed any at the time of report because they are still being constructed. Look for them to start building momentum in the coming months!
Range of homes offered: $214,900-$409,900
As you can see, Pike Road, Alabama is no longer a little town in the country. The growth is only the beginning we feel. The commercial real estate sector typically trails the residential in growth so we believe over the next couple years there are going to be very changing times in the Pike Road commercial real estate landscape. With 100’s of families moving to town, the need arises for gas stations, restaurants, shopping choices, etc.
If you have thought about making the move to Pike Road, the time is NOW. As you can see the prices are on the rise and the interest rates are still very low. If you are curious, don't hesitate.
