It's been way too long since we've reported on the bustling that is currently taking place in Pike Road. The homes continue to sell, and the building is like nothing we’ve ever seen. A few of the neighborhoods seem to take a complete new look with just a couple weeks of absence. It’s a great time to be in Pike Road!
As I am sure you are aware by now, the long awaited Pike Road School is in full swing and producing some wonderful little learners. The out of the box thinking that the Pike Road School Board has implemented goes hand and hand with some of the neighborhoods that support it.
We’ve got neighborhoods like The Waters that has re-invented itself over the past 3-4 years. The energy level in this quaint little slice of heaven is something to behold. The residents don’t seem to know what stress is as they motor around in their golf carts and the kiddos run and play amongst the plentiful playground type of acreage.
Since we’ve reported last, The Orchards has really emerged and taking shape as a family filled neighborhood. The location of this well thought out subdivision makes it ideal for those growing families that want to “walk” to the new Pike Road School! Yes, remember the old days of walking, biking or skateboarding to school? Those days are back. The Orchards has proven to be much more affordable than other neighborhoods in Pike Road, for a brand new spectacular home!
Another neighborhood that continues to flourish is Boykin Lakes. This is a Stone Martin Development and offers large homes, large lots and is selling like hot cakes! These homes feature beautiful upgrades like granite, tankless water heaters, etc. Also, many boast some very large yards with lots of privacy.
Next, we have the neighborhood which will be hosting the 2016 Parade Of Homes; Woodland Creek! This premiere Lowder New Homes neighborhood has continued to take shape even through the slow period of the market. Now, it’s absolutely on fire. The amenities that Woodland Creek has to offer, the wonderful built houses, preserved grounds with Pine Trees and walking paths and so on, you will feel at home from the time you drive through the beautiful entrance. In addition, Woodland Creek offers homes from the entry level in the low $200’s and up to 5 Bedrooms and much more space to roam. Here at 4 Wallz, we are definitely Woodland Creek fans…ask us why.
To touch on a couple of the other neighborhoods you’ve heard of in the past; Bon Terre and Providence. These neighborhoods sold at a real brisk pace leading up to the school craze, but have now pretty much built out. We can find you homes in these neighborhoods that are like new, however, they are not still building in these neighborhoods anymore.
Let’s look at Pike Road as a whole.
This chart represents very refreshing news to those looking to sell. Many folks were stuck in their homes with an inability to sell because of the down turn of the market. Not anymore! Prices are on the rise! Let us know if you'd like to get a current value on your home by CLICKING HERE.
This chart shows how many homes are selling in Pike Road! This is also GREAT NEWS! If we had these two charts from '08/'09, they'd probably look they were flipped backward.
